The Danish Cultural Institute is an independent institution under the Ministry of Culture, established in 1940 in Denmark. Headquartered in Copenhagen. The Institute aims to strengthen international understanding between Denmark and abroad. This is partly done by organizing cultural and information about Danish society from the broad concept of culture that includes art, culture and society. Through dialogue with other countries enrich our culture. The Danish Cultural Institute has several branches abroad. These departments are located in the Benelux, Brazil, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Britain and China. Through many years of experience have branches abroad built up a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the country's language and society and has created strong cultural cooperation networks. Departments have the professional as well as organizational excellence in the provision of cultural activities. The Danish Cultural Institute cooperates with other countries' cultural institutes.
