The History of the Cultural Institute

The Danish Cultural Institute in Kecskemét, Hungary was opened

on the 28th of November in 1992.

The establishment of the institute was the result of the meeting between Thomas Berntsen - a Danish political worker from Viborg, Denmark, and later the first director of the institute - and András Simonyi - a Hungarian diplomat.

[A much more thorough review of the history of the institute is currently being produced.]
