The Danish Cultural Institute can organize tailor-made exchange projects and projects with specific professional interest. The aim is to inspire and share new ideas and exchange experiences across cultures in order to harvest the best of each other's initiatives. The Institute can arrange tailor-made study tours within any field of interest.
Professional study tours
The Danish Cultural Institute can organize study tours depending on professional interests and background; i.e. for politicians, civil servants, teachers, managers, associations, institutions etc. The aim is to inspire and further new ideas and experiences across cultures.
The tours typically last 4-14 days.
The Institute can arrange tailor-made tours within any field of professional interest. The professional study tours are organized in cooperation with the Danish Cultural Institute's department in the specific country along with the Institute's global network. Besides Europe, study tours for China, the USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand can be organized.
Job-swop-programme
Job-swop is an in-service training scheme for administrators, educationalists, social workers, etc. The Danish and the foreign colleague are paired, taking turns living and working together in each other's countries.
The programme is organized on the basis of your/partner's institution along with other relevant institutions and organisations in the specific country. You take turn living in each other's home for a period of 4-14 days. In this way you and your partner hereby get an insight into each other's professional and cultural life. The exchanges can be organized in Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, the Baltic States, South Africa, Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
Group project
The Danish Cultural institute can also organize tailor–made exchange projects for larger professional groups similar to the individual job-swop programmes. Additional to the programme the Danish Cultural Institute can arrange conferences, seminars and different types of cultural events.
